MORE AT THE MAXXI

Another major exhibition at the MAXX is "Highway to India." Several talented Indian artists are part of this magnificent exhibition. Impressive are the art presented by Valey Shende, Jitish Hallat, Sheela Gowda, Subud Gupta and others.

I am an artist. I have had shows several times in Paris, Tokyo, New York, Stockholm and Duke University. For 26 years I have been exhibiting with Uptown Gallery in New York. I also shown at The Municipal Art Society of New York City and New-York Historical Society as well.I grew up in an art environment and most of my friends are artists, not necessarily painters like myself but actors, dancers, writers and poets. Over the years I have written four letters to the New York Times. Two of them were published which shows that my viewpoints were taken into consideration. I would like to have written more but most of my time is dedicated to create my work and to support causes I believe in.
